About me
Kari Leif
I am a researcher and a consultant exploring the dynamic intersections of the built environment, human experience, and sustainability. Currently pursuing my PhD in Building Performance and Diagnostics at Carnegie Mellon University, my work focuses on biophilia, indoor environmental quality, and human outcomes - bridging the gap between nature, design, and well-being.
I hold an MS in Building Performance and Diagnostics from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Sustainable Systems Management with an emphasis on Corporate Systems Sustainability from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.
I am passionate about designing beautiful, high-performing spaces that support well-being and sustainability, creating built environments where both people and nature can thrive.
